 DAY 1: PUNO AND CHUCUITO
We arrive in Puno in the morning and our vehicle takes us during an hour to the Chucuito peninsula, in Lake Titicaca, where we’ll ride along bridle paths bordering the coast of the lake, passing through beautiful beaches, rock formations and cliffs that blend beautifully against the typical landscape and croplands of the Altiplano. We spend the night in a Puno hotel.
DAY 2: PUNO AND SUASI ISLAND
We leave Puno in the morning by boat and take a tour around the floating islands of the Uros, and the island of Taquile, a community that keeps its ancestral customs alive. Then we head for Suasi where we will spend the rest of the day exploring the island on foot or by canoe. We will spend the night in the island’s charming hotel.
 Day 3. Suasi and Lampa
The following day we cross by boat the ten minutes that separates us from the coast and head for Moho. From there, we will begin our bike tour along ancient pre-Columbian stone-paved roads, with beautiful views of Lake Titicaca. At the end our vehicle will take us to Lampa, an important center during the heyday of Spanish dominion.
Day 4. Lampa and Tinajani
in the morning, a short visit around the village of Lampa and its church with its copy of Michael Angelo’s Pietá. Later our vehicle will take us to the Tarucani mountain pass from where we will begin our descent along the biggest forest of Puya Raimondii. The Puya is considered as the biggest inflorescence in the world. Growing over 40 feet tall, it flowers once every  hundred years, and we’ll have the opportunity to see some in full bloom. We continue down a beaten path and pedal on a flat stretch for about an hour after we leave the Puya forests until we get to Tinajani. We go into a canyon with impressive rock formations, continue along platforms of sloping rock and explore some of the many small canyons nearby. At the scheduled hour we are taken to the airport to catch the afternoon flight.
